Allied Health Services: Diabetes Education
Our diabetes educators are health care professionals with expertise and experience in diabetes education and management. They assist people with and at risk of diabetes, their families and carers. Education helps them gain the information, knowledge, skills, motivation and confidence they need to manage their condition and helps diabetics make decisions about their care and treatment. They combine clinical care with diabetes specific information and knowledge, self-management education and support.
